The main library for public reading of the state of Adrar is marking a new era in the field of modern technologies at the level of the main libraries for public reading across the country with the launch of the first modern card with radio frequency identification technology (RFID) addressed to its patrons.
The main library of the Public Library of Adrar state is working to be proactive in making the latest technologies available to researchers to serve as a role model.
In this regard, the library has been keen to harness the latest modern technologies in the field of library solutions, knowledge management and providing advanced services commensurate with the information and communication age.
In this context, the application of the radio frequency identification (RFID) system in our library will enable the library to better achieve its goals , as well as meet the expectations of leading researchers and provide self-service to them .
This is the first package of cards with RFID technology for library patrons, which currently number 2000 cards, which is an identification card for the reader inside the library, which is used for accessing various library facilities
(self-lending-self-internet space-open shelves-self-return….Etc.), and carry the name and personal data of the reader. This card has also been completed by the competencies of our library.
The word BAR CODE is a barcode or string code and is a light representation of computer-readable data such as numbers and letters, which is a two-dimensional code, and we can call them one-dimensional string codes or codes.
The word Quick Response code is a QR code, quick response code or square code is the brand name of a two-dimensional barcode matrix system (barcode), the code consists of black units arranged in the form of a square on a white background.
