Smart Sanitization Devices
In light of the precautionary measures and procedures decreed by the state to combat the Covid-19 coronavirus pandemic, sanitization machines were built by the library's IT team to protect readers and sterilize their tools and books
UV Book Sterilizer
The purpose of this device is to sterilize borrowed and returned books from readers as part of the external book lending service, creating a clean and comfortable reading environment with a single touch. The UV lamp emits short-wave ultraviolet rays (253.7 nm) which are extremely effective in killing bacteria and viruses by destroying the molecular bonds that hold DNA together.
- 1 Place each book on the small holder
- 2 Close the door and press the green button
- 3 In about 60 seconds, the books will be clean inside
- 4 After automatic shutdown, remove the books and close the door
UV Card Sterilizer
To better protect the health of readers, we built a UV card sterilizer that kills 99.97% of common germs
- 1 Place the cards on the dedicated holder
- 2 Close the door and set the timer to 60 seconds
- 3 In about 60 seconds, the cards will be clean
- 4 After automatic shutdown, remove the cards and close the door
No heat or chemicals used
UV Surface Sterilizer
Germicidal UV lamps provide surface sterilization (halls - corridors - offices) without chemicals
- Kills coronavirus and inhibits its activity
- Produces no ozone or secondary pollutants
- Chemical-free and leaves no residue
- 1 Place the device in the center of the room
- 2 Set the timer to 15 minutes
- 3 In about 15 minutes, the space will be clean
- 4 After shutdown, open windows for ventilation
Infrared Gel Station
GELVID INFRARED GEL STATION
GELVID is an infrared hydroalcoholic gel dispenser that eliminates any hand contact. This system was designed to limit the spread of viruses. It helps prevent the Covid-19 virus from entering the library to ensure the safety of visitors and readers.
The automatic dispenser releases 1ml of hydroalcoholic gel with each hand pass under the sensor
Cardboard Mask Trash Bin
CARDBOARD TRASH CAN FOR MASKS
A cardboard box dedicated to creating collection points for used masks. Made from double corrugated cardboard, it can be placed in various strategic locations throughout the library. Visible from a distance, it encourages regular mask changes.
